Same here, in the Czech republic. But just for guide dogs, not for assistance dogs. Does anybody know, what says the law about assistance dogs in other countries? It would be really helpful for me!

There are stores in Northern Ireland that display just no dog signs instead of the no dogs except service dogs or guide dogs signs in the UK. Most country’s in the EU allows guide dogs but their signs are differant.

Omg yes so like here in the USA or at least in my state in the USA they have service dogs only signs no pets but I have only been almost denied at my gp clinic

Yeah There’s no law against guide dogs in both Sweden and Denmark. It would be like saying to someone that they can’t use their crutches or wheelchair, which would be ridiculous right. Guide dogs are not seen as dogs really (pet dogs) but more as a working dog, and we have laws saying that guide dogs are allowed in all places. The signs for no dogs allowed is for normal dogs that maybe haven’t had training to not touch stuff they shouldn’t

Only guide dogs? Does that mean other assistance animals are not allowed? I usually hear of, "Assistance animals for all disabilities," (Etats-Unis) "Guide, mobility, and hearing," (Japan, etc.), or "No assistance animals are recognised." (Cuba, etc.) But guide dogs only is new.

When I visit the Eiffel Tower I go for the view. This is probably true for most visitors so the Eiffel Tower facility people may not be used to visually impaired visitors

Sticks with suspension are useful for others besides the blind. I use a hiking-pole, for balance, and its suspension is useful.

I've been to France many times, making Paris my port of entry. It's a lovely country and the people I've met were ... ok. Like many other places that aren't perfect, the French need a lot of changing to do to suite the times.
